House de Goede:

The little Karoo was the inspiration for this beautiful interior. From dark and closed off to bright open and airy, the change in this interior was immense. A taste of Africa has been bought into the space with the use of raw textures and finishes. The neutral colour palette of greys and white paired with the pops of mustard and cactus green  are reminiscent of the karoo landscape. We revamped the kitchen from old oak to fresh country flair! The kiaat tops are amazing and add warmth and character to the design.

House Watkins:

Gary and Jackie have a great sense of style and a classic taste. We updated their home from a dark interior to light and elegant. By combining different finishes and bespoke furniture pieces we achieved a desirable interior with great focal points and features. We loved this project because we were able to do the entire interiors and received maximum results. Gary and Jackie are thrilled with the results.

House Waplington:

Paige's style is eclectic, bold, quirky and her love for Africa shines through. Each room has a burst of colour and a touch of africa. “I love my home and love showing my personality in its design.”

Durban Decorex 2014:

This is our Stand at the 2014 Durban Decorex show. What a great show, we won an award for our beautiful stand and had a fantastic time!

House Macaulay:

This client is fantastic, so confident and willing to do bold and exciting things! We are slowly renovating her entire house. To date we have done the more toned down rooms, the white guest bedroom and bathroom, study and birdi room. Other rooms include a black bathroom and dining room, a bright red walled guest room, and an african inspired lounge. As soon as these are complete I will add them to the portfolio. Next year we will be extending her house to make way for a new entertainment space and kitchen. Once complete this house is going to be amazing!

House James:

We had so much fun with this project! The clients are young engaged couple who just purchased their first house. It was dated and was in desperate need of a revamp. We renovated the bathrooms with contemporary units and quirky features. The bedroom has the most amazing custom headboard and side tables. We made a playroom for their son using bright colours and bold patterns while the family chose to do their own artwork. The lounge has beautiful leather couches and a classic colour palette creating a serene area for them to enjoy. Fantastic house, fantastic result!

29 on st James B&B:

29 on St James is a lovely BnB in Westville, the owners who run the BnB have a love for antiques and artwork. We displayed their artwork on gallery walls and updated their antiques by giving them fresh new fabrics. We brightened the space with a lighter colour palette and added some focus features like the vinyl framed mirror and grass cloth wallpaper. We revamped there parquet flooring to an on trend grey wash. The result is a brighter warmer and more comfortable space.

Medical Research Council reception area:

The Medical Research Council in Westville needed to update their reception area from the tired red palette to a fresh vibrant colour palette that boasts their corporate colours. We reused existing furniture by revamping and repositioning, we displayed their corporate identity on the wall, and created a cohesive interior demonstrating their professionalism and clean cut style.

Tammy's Bedroom on a Budget:

A makeover done on a budget! This was such a fun project to do, I love the bright colours, quirky touches and African design. I worked hand in hand with my client putting together the space. It cost just under R8000, which is fantastic for the results that were achieved! We painted the walls, added tint to that paint to paint the headboard, added some gallery walls, created a reading nook, bought and refurbished a server from auction, wallpapered a panel behind the dresser (this wallpaper is bought by the metre so is a big saving!) bought some décor pieces and placed them beautifully to create our awesome makeover on a budget! Just shows what you can do on a small budget and if you are prepared to do the work yourself.  Thanks Tammy, it was great fun working with you :)

House Spies:

Love and romance sum up the feeling in this bedroom makeover. The fairytale fabrics combined with masculine colours and gorgeous furniture pieces have pulled this bedroom together beautifully. My favourite piece are the bed side tables, the grey wash timber and crystal handles are a divine combination of rustic and glam. I just loved working with Allan and Lize, perfectly relaxed and happy clients, the best to work with.

House Brooks:

This home has such charm, you feel welcome the minute to step in it and the views are incredible! Lynn loves her view of the Westville trees so we used it as inspiration for the make over of her lounge. We chose bright floral fabrics and a chartreuse and praline colour palette to bring nature inside. We reupholstered her couches, revamped some furniture and reorganised artwork and décor.New curtains were hung and the result was fabulous!

House Mitchell:

The brief was to create a bright new space more suitable for entertaining. The kitchen and lounge area were opened up to create a more open plan area. We gave them hot new fabrics and custom designed contemporary TV unit. We brightened the space with an 'exotic green' feature wall and light 'dew drop' neutral walls.

House Rixon:

This home is full of family treasures and sentimental value. The instructions were create me something beautiful but keep all my furniture, paintings and, bits and bobs. We went with an african theme inspired by colonial english décor and a bright twist.
In the lounge all the furniture was kept but painted in bright colours to mimic the bold personality of the owner! Paintings and family photos were regrouped to create more harmony in the space. We used African inspired fabrics for the new cushions and ottoman, and created a new floor plan.

The dining room is bold and bright and a lot of fun! Here is where the client entertains and lets her and her family's personalities shine through!

Doctors offices at Ethekweni Hospital:

Redesign Interiors was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with the very talented Yolande from D2 Interiors. The design is contemporary and fun with Yolande's unique and quirky style. She designed the space while Redesign Interiors supervised and implemented the design.

Offices at Advanced Retaining:

The two men who run this company are very down to earth and practical guys. They needed a fresh look that was contemporary and clutter free. We gave them new colours on the walls, contemporary furniture and a splash of colour in the dado rail.
